Meanwhile, the consumer durables and three-wheeler categories recorded strong demand, bolstered by increased financing penetration and festive-led purchases.
During the quarter, TVS Credit continued to invest in capabilities spanning artificial intelligence, data and analytics, and technology to support risk assessment, customer experience, and operational efficiency. The NBFC also expanded its footprint across semi-urban and rural India, bringing its network to over 65,100 touchpoints nationwide.

"The steady performance of TVS Credit highlights the resilience and growth potential within the non-banking financial sector, particularly driven by retail demand in semi-urban and rural markets. Their focus on scaling distribution touchpoints while simultaneously investing in technology and AI for risk management indicates a balanced approach to expansion. For the broader financial services ecosystem, leveraging localized demand coupled with disciplined operational efficiency remains key to sustaining profitability." — Dr. Shishir Gupta, Founder & CEO, StartupLanes
