Welspun Corp has bagged its largest-ever order worth approximately $1.8 billion to supply pipes from its US manufacturing facility. The contract pushes the company's global order book to a record $4.4 billion, providing multi-year revenue visibility through FY28 and FY29.

Welspun Corp has secured its largest single order in history, valued at approximately $1.8 billion (₹17,200 crore). The contract involves supplying pipes from the company's manufacturing facility in the United States.

According to a regulatory filing released late Thursday night, the order will be executed during the 2028 and 2029 financial years. This large-scale win elevates Welspun Corp’s global order book to a record $4.4 billion (about ₹42,100 crore), marking the highest order book level in the company's operational history.

The company stated that the project strengthens its standing within the North American energy infrastructure sector. Welspun has focused on expanding its manufacturing capacity and customer relationships in the region. B K Goenka, Chairman of Welspun World, noted that North America remains a strategically important market where the company has invested in manufacturing and technological capabilities.

Goenka added that the size of the order validates the company's strategy and positions it to take part in upcoming phases of energy infrastructure development in the United States. The execution of this order will be handled through the company's US manufacturing operations.

This latest development aligns with Welspun Corp’s broader strategy of expanding its global manufacturing footprint. The flagship company of Welspun World operates manufacturing facilities across India, the US, and Saudi Arabia, serving customers in over 50 countries and six continents.

Welspun Corp maintains a diversified product portfolio that includes line pipes, ductile iron pipes, stainless steel bars, pipes and tubes, and TMT rebars. Its portfolio also includes Sintex, which operates in water storage tanks and advanced plastic piping solutions.

"Securing an order of this magnitude demonstrates strong execution capabilities and deep customer trust in competitive international markets. For industrial and manufacturing enterprises, building localized capacities ahead of demand is critical to capturing large-scale global opportunities. This multi-year contract not only ensures long-term revenue visibility through FY28 and FY29, but also reinforces the importance of strategic geographic expansion in sustaining steady corporate growth." — Dr. Shishir Gupta, Founder & CEO, StartupLanes
