Fintech and enterprise technology firm Paramotor Digital Technology Ltd has received final observations from SEBI to float an initial public offering. The company initially filed its draft papers confidentially under the pre-filing route in May.

Fintech and enterprise technology firm Paramotor Digital Technology Ltd has secured approval from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to proceed with an initial public offering (IPO), according to an update released by the markets regulator on Thursday.

The company had previously filed its draft papers confidentially under SEBI's pre-filing route in May and subsequently obtained its final observation on August 25. The pre-filing mechanism allows issuers to keep details regarding issue size and other key metrics confidential until a later stage, offering companies increased flexibility in managing their IPO preparations in response to prevailing market conditions.

The receipt of SEBI's final observation marks a critical procedural step in the public offering process. With this clearance, the company is now positioned to move forward with further preparations for its public issue, subject to applicable regulatory requirements.

Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors and Equirus Capital have been appointed as the book-running lead managers for the issue.

Incorporated in 2016, Paramotor Digital Technology operates a diversified technology platform serving both consumers and enterprise clients across India. Its core business segments span consumer spend management, rewards and loyalty solutions, digital gifting, and enterprise technology services.

The company's operational portfolio includes several distinct platforms. SpendPro functions as a prepaid card-based spend management platform, while RewardOn serves as an enterprise rewards and loyalty management solution designed to assist organizations with employee engagement, customer loyalty, and channel incentives. Additionally, the firm operates yayyy.shop, a direct-to-consumer digital gifting marketplace that provides access to prepaid and branded gift cards across multiple categories, alongside DevStack, which focuses on enterprise technology, software development services, and custom-built digital solutions.

Paramotor employs an asset-light, technology-driven business model aimed at capturing growth driven by increasing digital adoption across consumer spending, enterprise engagement, and business process digitisation.

"The approval of Paramotor Digital Technology's IPO papers highlights the growing maturity of India's fintech sector as companies mature toward public markets. Utilizing SEBI's pre-filing route offers businesses valuable flexibility to navigate market conditions before disclosing sensitive issue details. As enterprise technology and consumer digital platforms continue to scale, public listings provide a viable avenue for long-term growth and capital expansion." — Dr. Shishir Gupta, Founder & CEO, StartupLanes
