IPO-bound global customer experience solutions provider Fusion CX has announced its acquisition of offshore staffing provider VA Platinum. The deal marks Fusion CX's 16th acquisition, establishing its physical presence in New South Wales, Australia.

KOLKATA — IPO-bound Fusion CX, a global customer experience solutions provider, on Tuesday announced its acquisition of VA Platinum (VAP), a provider of dedicated offshore staffing and managed workforce solutions for Australian businesses.

This transaction marks the Kolkata-based company’s 16th acquisition to date and establishes its direct presence in Australia. Specifically, the acquisition provides the company with an established physical presence in New South Wales, Australia.

Founded in 2017 by Brian Jones, VA Platinum has built a presence among small and mid-sized Australian businesses, particularly across financial services and related professional sectors. The company currently serves more than 350 clients and has over 700 revenue-generating employees. This workforce is supported by an operations team of approximately 100 professionals across delivery operations located in Cebu and Davao in the Philippines.

According to Fusion CX, VA Platinum provides dedicated, full-time offshore professionals across several specialized functions. These include finance and accounting, mortgage broking, financial planning, lending, bookkeeping, legal and conveyancing, real estate, and other specialized business support services.

Pankaj Dhanuka, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Fusion CX, commented on the development, stating that VA Platinum has built a business with expertise in the Australian market and a differentiated approach to offshore staffing. He added that the acquisition marks an important milestone for Fusion CX as the company establishes its presence in Australia and adds specialized staffing and managed workforce capabilities to its portfolio, while welcoming Brian Jones and the VAP team.

The acquisition combines VA Platinum’s Australian market expertise and specialist workforce model with Fusion CX’s global scale and offshore delivery experience. Furthermore, it expands the Kolkata-based company’s service portfolio across finance and accounting BPO, mortgage and real estate BPO, and specialized professional support services, complementing its existing customer experience and business process outsourcing capabilities.

Brian Jones, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of VA Platinum, noted that joining Fusion CX marks an exciting new chapter for the company. He stated that VAP has built its business around helping Australian companies access dedicated, high-quality offshore teams, and that becoming part of Fusion CX brings together their understanding of the Australian market with the scale and capabilities of a global organization.

"The acquisition of VA Platinum by Fusion CX illustrates a strategic approach to inorganic growth, particularly for companies preparing for an IPO. By integrating an established player with strong regional expertise in Australia and delivery centers in the Philippines, Fusion CX is effectively expanding its service portfolio into specialized professional support and financial BPO verticals. This move allows the company to scale its international footprint and cross-sell services to a broader client base of small and mid-sized businesses." — Dr. Shishir Gupta, Founder & CEO, StartupLanes
