Homegrown Beverage Brand Simba Secures Honours for Entire Portfolio at World Beer Awards

NEW DELHI — Saltborn, the collective behind the homegrown beverage brand Simba, has earned two new accolades at the World Beer Awards 2026. Simba Wild was awarded Silver, while Simba Lager received Bronze.

These latest honours follow the recognition of Simba Wit (Silver) and Simba Stout (Bronze) at the World Beer Awards 2025. With this addition, every variant in Simba's current portfolio has now received recognition from the international competition across two consecutive years.

The World Beer Awards evaluates international entries through blind tastings conducted by specialist judges, focusing on taste and quality. The recognition for Simba Wild comes shortly after its market introduction in July 2026. Brewed with a crisp character, it combines malt notes and hop aromas. Simba Lager, an established offering in the portfolio, was recognized for its clean and approachable profile.

The milestone coincides with Simba marking ten years of brewing operations in India. Over the past decade, the brand has developed its own brewery, produced small-batch craft beverages, and expanded its presence through cultural platforms such as Simba Uproar, First Time with Simba, Simba Garage, and Simba Wagwan.

Ishwaraj Singh Bhatia, Co-founder of Simba and ZigZag, noted that having every variant in the portfolio recognized internationally reflects the brand's consistency and commitment to craft since its inception a decade ago.
