KATHMANDU, NEPAL — Authorities in Nepal have temporarily halted rescue operations in the flood-hit Rasuwa district following reports that a dammed lake has begun to overflow. An army officer confirmed on Friday that rescue efforts were suspended for a period of 90 minutes.
