NIIT Expands Digital Learning Portfolio with Five New AI Professional Programs

New Delhi-based skills and talent development corporation NIIT Limited has expanded its AI learning portfolio with the launch of five new professional programs under NIIT Digital. The initiative aims to build industry-ready talent for the evolving artificial intelligence economy.

According to NIIT’s India Skills Gap Report 2026, nearly 40% of employers and academic leaders expect artificial intelligence to significantly reshape workforce roles over the next three to five years. The report indicates a growing preference among employers for professionals who can apply AI across various business functions rather than relying strictly on foundational knowledge. It also notes that 38% of respondents believe employers increasingly value certifications and micro-credentials alongside traditional degrees.

The newly launched portfolio has been developed through consultations with industry leaders and enterprise stakeholders. The programs span AI Native Engineering utilizing NIIT's proprietary SCVHS methodology, AI-powered full-stack development, data analytics and machine learning, and AI-enabled digital marketing. Curriculum content covers Generative AI, large language models, intelligent automation, predictive analytics, and AI-powered business applications.

He emphasized that familiarity with the technology differs from operational capability, and the new programs are designed to help learners apply AI to real business problems.

Delivered via NIIT Digital's online learning platform, the programs incorporate mentor-led sessions, hands-on projects, real-world case studies, and practical assignments. This structure allows learners to upskill while balancing academic or professional commitments.
