Poland's Prime Minister Donald Tusk has stated that India and Poland should move beyond traditional trade frameworks to deepen bilateral cooperation in advanced sectors such as technology, artificial intelligence (AI), and aerospace.
Addressing the India-Poland Business Forum on Friday, the visiting leader emphasized that the existing strategic partnership between the two nations should now translate directly into collaborative business structures.
"Now it is time to translate these declarations into joint ventures," Prime Minister Tusk said during his address. He noted that fostering greater technological cooperation would help strengthen both economies and assist them in accessing broader global markets.
Highlighting the venue of the event, PM Tusk pointed to the city's role as a prominent global technology and innovation hub. "This place shows how investing in people, knowledge, and entrepreneurship can change the position of the entire economy," he added.
The call for joint ventures marks a push toward deeper economic integration between Indian and Polish enterprises, particularly within high-tech and innovation-driven industries.
"Prime Minister Donald Tusk's emphasis on moving from traditional trade to joint ventures in technology, AI, and aerospace opens up significant avenues for cross-border collaboration. For entrepreneurs and businesses in both India and Poland, this creates a strong foundation to leverage Bengaluru's established innovation ecosystem and scale operations into global markets through strategic partnerships." — Dr. Shishir Gupta, Founder & CEO, StartupLanes
