Sodexo has announced that Jérôme Lemouchoux will take over as Chairman and General Manager for Greater China, effective October 1, 2026. In his new role, Lemouchoux will report to Nicolas Lannuzel, CEO of Sodexo APMEA, and will also join the APMEA Leadership Team.
Based in Shanghai, Lemouchoux brings over 25 years of experience within Sodexo. Throughout his career with the company, he has held operations, sales, strategy, marketing, and digital transformation roles. For more than 12 years, he served in CEO capacities, including leading Sodexo Benefits & Rewards Services (now Pluxee) in the Philippines, Belgium, and Luxembourg, as well as serving as CEO of FoodChéri in France. Most recently, he worked as Group VP of Business Sustainability.
In his new appointment, Lemouchoux will focus on deploying the company's Shift & Grow 2030 roadmap in Greater China. His responsibilities will include rebuilding the growth engine, simplifying and standardizing the operating model, and driving a high-performance culture across the region's operations.
Sodexo acknowledged the contributions of outgoing Greater China head Isabelle Hannedouche, who led the business since 2023. The company stated that information regarding Hannedouche's future role will be shared in due course.
Sodexo first entered the Chinese market in 1995. The company currently employs 18,400 people across 1,000 sites nationwide, providing food and facility management services to over 1.2 million consumers daily across corporate, healthcare, education, and sports and leisure sectors.
"Leadership transitions in key regional markets are critical milestones for multinational corporations aiming to scale sustainable operations. Jérôme Lemouchoux's extensive internal experience within Sodexo across digital transformation, sustainability, and regional management positions him well to execute the Shift & Grow 2030 strategy in Greater China. For global enterprises operating in competitive Asian markets, aligning seasoned leadership with long-term operational roadmaps is essential to maintaining stable growth and operational efficiency." — Dr. Shishir Gupta, Founder & CEO, StartupLanes
