Swiggy has announced expanded leadership roles for three senior executives across its Instamart and Food Marketplace divisions. This follows a series of recent executive appointments made by the company earlier this year.

Food delivery and quick commerce major Swiggy announced expanded leadership roles for three senior executives within its Instamart and Food Marketplace businesses on Tuesday.

As part of the organizational update, Himavant Kurnala has been appointed as the Chief Growth and Product Officer for Instamart. Kurnala has led the quick commerce platform's product charter since 2024, later expanding his remit to include growth and brand marketing.

Nitesh Garg takes on the role of Chief Technology Officer for Instamart. Garg has spent over seven years at Swiggy, most recently serving as Senior Vice President leading engineering for Instamart and New Initiatives.

Additionally, Saurav Goyal has been named Chief Operating Officer for the Food Marketplace business. Goyal has held a wide range of leadership roles since joining Swiggy in 2020, spanning business finance for food, Instamart, and driver and delivery product and operations.

This announcement follows a series of recent leadership appointments at Swiggy. These include Nandita Sinha as Chief Executive Officer of Instamart and Gautam Swaroop as Chief Business Officer of Instamart. Earlier this year, Swapnil Bajpai was elevated as the Chief Executive Officer of Swiggy's Dineout and Scenes business, while Sidharth Bhakoo continues to serve as the Chief Business Officer of the Swiggy Food Marketplace.

"Structuring leadership teams effectively is crucial as companies scale distinct verticals like quick commerce and food delivery. By elevating internal talent who understand the foundational technology and operations, Swiggy is demonstrating continuity while positioning key business segments for their next phase of growth." — Dr. Shishir Gupta, Founder & CEO, StartupLanes
