TestMu AI Concludes Fifth Annual TestMu Conference 2026 Focusing on Agentic Software Development

TestMu AI, operating as an agentic AI-powered quality engineering platform, has wrapped up the fifth edition of its annual virtual event, the TestMu Conference 2026. Held across three days, the summit focused on the shift toward autonomous software development and agentic engineering within the technology sector.

The virtual event recorded participation across 120 countries, bringing in over 75,000 registrations from developers, testers, engineering leaders, and machine learning engineers. According to the company, the conference saw active attendance from over 10,000 participants engaging with the scheduled programming.

The agenda featured 96 sessions, panels, and workshops led by speakers from various global enterprises, including Microsoft, Meta, Replit, Databricks, Glean, Hinge Health, Salesforce, and Piramal Finance. Notable industry representatives included Luis Héctor Chávez, Chief Technology Officer at Replit; Francesca Lazzeri, Principal Group Director at Microsoft; Thomas Dohmke, Co-Founder and CEO of Entire; and Dona Sarkar from Microsoft Enterprise AI Advocacy, alongside engineering leads from Meta, Glean, Hinge Health, and Databricks.

Discussions at the summit highlighted three primary imperatives for the industry. First, developers must intentionally engineer trust into AI agents through verification layers and evaluations as autonomous systems take on larger engineering workloads. Second, enterprises need to move agentic workflows from pilot phases into production by implementing observability, governance, and quality gates. Third, human oversight remains vital, requiring engineering leaders to build the skills and operating models needed to supervise AI tools effectively.

Asad Khan, CEO and Co-Founder of TestMu AI, noted that the conference highlighted a collective industry push toward responsible agentic AI engineering, establishing frameworks for how software will be tested and shipped moving forward.

The event received support from an ecosystem of technology partners, including Accenture, Capgemini, LTIMindtree, Microsoft, Persistent, and Wipro. Following the conclusion of this year's event, TestMu AI announced that the sixth annual TestMu Conference is scheduled to take place from August 24 to August 26, 2027.
