TestMu AI, operating as an agentic AI-powered quality engineering platform, has wrapped up the fifth edition of its annual TestMu Conference. The three-day virtual summit centered on the future of agentic engineering, autonomous software development, and quality assurance.
The event recorded over 75,000 registrations from developers, testers, engineering leaders, and AI/ML engineers spanning more than 120 countries, with active attendance reaching over 10,000 participants.
The conference agenda featured 96 sessions, panels, and workshops. Speakers and participants included representatives from prominent global enterprises such as Microsoft, Meta, Replit, Databricks, Glean, Hinge Health, Salesforce, and Piramal Finance. Notable industry figures who spoke at the event included Luis Héctor Chávez, Chief Technology Officer at Replit; Francesca Lazzeri, Principal Group Director at Microsoft; Thomas Dohmke, Co-Founder and CEO of Entire; Dona Sarkar from Microsoft Enterprise AI Advocacy; Rushabh Mehta from Meta; Nilesh Dalvi from Glean; Rashi Agrawal from Hinge Health; and Viktoria Semaan from Databricks.
Discussions during the summit highlighted three main industry imperatives for the shift toward autonomous software development. First, participants emphasized that trust in AI systems must be actively engineered through rigorous evaluations, verification layers, and continuous validation. Second, the industry must transition agentic workflows from experimental pilots to production-grade deployment by implementing quality gates, observability, and governance. Finally, experts noted that human oversight and the development of internal operating models remain essential for successfully adopting AI coworkers.
Asad Khan, CEO and Co-Founder of TestMu AI, stated that the event reflected the industry's progression toward responsible agentic AI engineering. He noted that autonomous systems demand autonomous quality, which will shape software development and testing practices over the coming decade.
The virtual event received support from several partner organizations, including Accenture, Capgemini, LTIMindtree, Microsoft, Persistent, and Wipro.
Following the conclusion of the 2026 summit, TestMu AI announced that the sixth annual TestMu Conference is scheduled to take place from August 24 to August 26, 2027.
