Peyman Kargar will succeed K. N. Radhakrishnan, who will continue in his current role until the transition date to ensure operational continuity. Following this, Radhakrishnan will serve as a Non-Executive Director until the upcoming Annual General Meeting in July 2027.
The announcement follows a period of strong business performance for the company. During FY2025-26, TVS Motor Company reported global sales of 5.9 million vehicles and achieved 30% revenue growth, as it looks to consolidate its market position in India and expand internationally.

In his new capacity as CEO, Kargar will oversee the company's domestic and global growth strategies, which focus on product innovation, premiumisation, and expansion into developed markets.
Sudarshan Venu, Chairman of TVS Motor Company, noted that the appointment comes as the company prepares for its next phase of growth. Venu acknowledged the contributions of K. N. Radhakrishnan in shaping the organisation over many years and expressed confidence in Kargar's ability to lead the company's global mobility initiatives.
Commenting on his new role, Peyman Kargar stated that he aims to focus on realizing the company's vision, strengthening technology leadership, enhancing AI capabilities, and maintaining a commitment to quality and customer centricity.
