Wipro Renews Long-Standing Digital Workplace Services Contract with ABB

IT services major Wipro has renewed its long-standing digital workplace services contract with ABB, a global technology player specialising in electrification and automation. Building on a multi-year relationship, Wipro will continue to deliver end-to-end AI-enabled digital workplace services for ABB's operations worldwide.

The renewed engagement focuses on modernising ABB's digital workplace through advanced automation, artificial intelligence-powered service capabilities, and ongoing workplace modernization initiatives. The services will be powered by Wipro Intelligence, the company's unified suite of AI platforms, solutions, and transformative offerings. Operations will be operationalised through WINGS, Wipro's AI-powered delivery platform, along with Wipro’s AI Live Workspace and Digital Workplace Services offerings.

A core component of the renewed partnership involves SmartOps, Wipro’s AIOps capability. This focus will shift operations toward more autonomous and predictive workplace services. Key technical integrations include GenAI-powered self-service, virtual agents, auto-remediation, and AI-assisted dispatch. By leveraging telemetry and usage insights, Wipro aims to optimise device lifecycle management and strengthen endpoint security operations while aligning with ABB's digital transformation and sustainability goals.

Commenting on the renewal, Ana Jauregui, Head of Consumer Experience at ABB, stated that the reliability, security, and user experience of their digital workplace remain critical given the organisation's global scale and diverse workforce.
