BLS International Services has posted a 9 percent increase in net profit to ₹202 crore for the quarter ended September, driven by strong demand and growth in both its visa and digital services segments. The company also announced crossing the milestone of 500 million applications processed globally.

BLS International Services, an AI and tech-enabled service provider, has reported a net profit of ₹202 crore for the September quarter, marking a 9 per cent increase compared to ₹186 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year. The growth was backed by robust demand across its business segments.

During the quarter, the company's total revenue grew by 32 per cent to ₹973 crore, up from ₹737 crore in the same quarter last fiscal year. EBITDA for the period increased by 17 per cent to ₹248 crore, compared to ₹213 crore previously.

Highlighting the operational performance, Shikhar Aggarwal, Joint Managing Director of BLS International Services, stated that the Visa and Consular Services business maintained steady momentum. Q2 revenue and EBITDA for this segment grew by 11 per cent each, reaching ₹510 crore and ₹214 crore respectively, with an EBITDA margin of 42 per cent. Aggarwal noted that despite geopolitical and travel-related disruptions in certain markets, the company's diversified global presence and operational capabilities helped sustain its performance.

The company's Digital Services business recorded stronger growth, with Q2 revenue rising 66 per cent year-on-year to ₹463 crore. EBITDA for the digital segment grew by 67 per cent to ₹34 crore, supported by expanding e-governance and citizen services platforms.

During the quarter, BLS International surpassed the milestone of 500 million applications processed globally across its Visa, Consular, and Citizen Services businesses. The company currently operates in over 100 countries.

The firm also invested in its AI-led technology ecosystem, focusing on automation, secure infrastructure, strategic partnerships, and employee upskilling to drive operational efficiencies, enhance data security, and improve the applicant experience. In addition, BLS strengthened its Global Advisory Board with the appointment of former Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves as Global Strategic Advisor, following the earlier addition of former Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison.

Looking ahead, the company stated that it remains confident about its growth prospects, citing its expanding global footprint, established government relationships, technology capabilities, and the growing scale of its digital services.

"BLS International's steady Q2 performance highlights the value of scaling tech-enabled service models across international markets. Crossing the milestone of 500 million processed applications demonstrates strong operational execution and deep government trust. As service providers increasingly integrate automation and AI to manage large-scale citizen operations, maintaining robust digital infrastructure will remain key to sustaining both revenue growth and margin stability in a complex global environment." — Dr. Shishir Gupta, Founder & CEO, StartupLanes
