Brigade Enterprises enters Coimbatore housing market with ₹600 crore residential project

Realty firm Brigade Enterprises Ltd announced on Monday that it has launched its first housing project in Coimbatore for sale. The company expects to generate a total revenue of approximately ₹600 crore from this upcoming property.

According to a regulatory filing by the Bengaluru-based real estate developer, the residential project will span 5.4 acres in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The development is being executed through a Joint Development Agreement (JDA).

Pavitra Shankar, Managing Director of Brigade Enterprises, spoke on the regional fundamentals driving the expansion. Coimbatore possesses the characteristics of a high-growth real estate market, citing a diversified economy, a deep talent pool, strong social infrastructure, and a robust pipeline of infrastructure investments. Shankar noted that demand for quality real estate in the region is set to accelerate.

Describing the regional expansion, Shankar added that entering Coimbatore is a strategic step in Brigade's growth journey across South India. The company expressed enthusiasm about bringing its multi-domain development expertise to a market poised for its next phase of transformation.

Established in 1986, the Brigade Group operates as a property developer in India. The company has previously developed housing and commercial projects across cities including Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mysuru, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, and GIFT City, alongside maintaining a presence in the hospitality and education sectors.
