Enterprise AI company Flytxt recently hosted its Innovation2Impact leadership panel as part of Aahvan 26, its annual gathering held at Technopark. The discussion brought together prominent leaders from business, technology, and academia, alongside Flytxt's partners and leadership team from the UAE, Japan, the Netherlands, Germany, and South Africa.
The session explored the real-world impact of Artificial Intelligence across various industries, focusing on enterprise adoption, the evolution of Agentic AI, emerging AI pricing models, and ongoing concerns surrounding data privacy.
The panel was chaired by Amit Kumar, Managing Partner at Simon-Kucher India. It featured T Koshy, former CEO of ONDC India; Santanu Chaudhury, Dean of Ashoka University and Professor at IIT Delhi; Abhik Chatterjee, CEO of Kerala Blasters FC; Timo Marks, CEO of Profile-as-a-Service; and Niladri Sen, Vice-President of Flytxt.
Opening the discussion, Vinod Vasudevan, CEO of Flytxt, noted that the industry is no longer debating whether AI will have an impact, but rather how to accelerate that impact at scale in a responsible manner.
During the panel, speakers addressed distinct operational and technical challenges associated with modern AI deployment. Santanu Chaudhury remarked that AI technology still has a long way to go, particularly in building trust in its decisions and actions. Meanwhile, T Koshy emphasized the need for AI-driven innovations to be decentralized and deployed more at the edge to create impact at a population scale.
Discussing sector-specific applications, Abhik Chatterjee highlighted the relevance of data patterns in player recruitment, player well-being, and performance optimization within professional football.
Addressing performance metrics and user concerns, Niladri Sen stated that the success of an AI agent can only be measured by defining clear criteria and key performance indicators (KPIs) in advance, followed by evaluating the extent to which they are achieved. Timo Marks added that concerns over privacy can be mitigated by empowering consumers to influence how enterprises use their profile data.
Panelists also shared their practical experiences utilizing AI for rapid data analysis and business decision-making. The event concluded with discussions aimed at providing IT entrepreneurs, professionals, and technology enthusiasts with a clearer understanding of the practical applications and possibilities of AI.
"As enterprise technology matures, discussions around AI are shifting from theoretical capabilities to practical execution, scalability, and measurable ROI. The insights shared at Flytxt's panel highlight critical business considerations, including building institutional trust, defining clear KPIs for AI agents, and addressing data privacy concerns. For growing enterprises and tech entrepreneurs, focusing on decentralized deployment and responsible scaling will be vital to driving real-world value from artificial intelligence solutions." — Dr. Shishir Gupta, Founder & CEO, StartupLanes
