Chennai-based financial technology company Intellect Design Arena Ltd has announced its financial results for the quarter ended September 2026, reporting a nearly flat year-on-year growth in consolidated net profit. The firm posted a net profit of ₹104 crore, compared to ₹102 crore during the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
Revenue from operations for the quarter stood at ₹847 crore, registering an increase from ₹758 crore reported in the same period last year. Total collections for Q2FY27 were recorded at ₹815 crore, up from ₹753 crore previously.
A breakdown of the company's revenue segments showed platform revenue at ₹133 crore, while licence revenue came in at ₹164 crore. Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) revenue was reported at ₹160 crore. According to the company, licence-linked revenue—which encompasses licence, platform, and AMC—grew by 7 percent to reach ₹457 crore.
Despite the operational figures, market reaction to the results was sharp. The company's share price on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) closed at ₹498 on Friday, marking a decline of ₹104.85, or 17.39 percent.
Commenting on the quarterly performance, Arun Jain, Chairman and Managing Director of Intellect Design Arena Ltd, highlighted the firm's strategic initiatives during the period. "The launch of MSOCK this quarter marks a defining milestone in our journey towards AI-Native enterprise transformation. Together with eMACH.ai and Purple Fabric, this architectural innovation strengthens our competitive differentiation and opens new opportunities in enterprise modernisation," Jain said.
He further added that the company's sustained last-twelve-months (LTM) revenue growth, expanding global customer relationships, and strong deal pipeline continue to reinforce the scalability of its platform-led business model.
"Intellect Design Arena's latest quarterly results highlight a common market reality where steady financial performance can still trigger negative stock reactions if investor expectations for profit growth are unmet. While the company is focusing heavily on platform-led models and AI-driven enterprise transformation like MSOCK and eMACH.ai, the market is closely watching how these technological investments will translate into bottom-line acceleration. For mature technology companies, maintaining high valuations requires balancing strategic innovation with consistent earnings growth." — Dr. Shishir Gupta, Founder & CEO, StartupLanes
