Travel experiences platform Klook has rolled out an upgraded version of its Kreator Shops feature to its network of over 30,000 creators across 88 markets. The announcement was made during Klook's annual global creator summit, KREATORVERSE 2026, held in Phu Quoc, Vietnam.
Previously, content creators relied on individual affiliate links for every post and recommendation. The updated Kreator Shops feature introduces an always-on, customizable storefront that consolidates a creator's entire portfolio of recommendations into a single link. Users can browse and book attractions, tours, hotels, food and beverage experiences, and transport options directly through the storefront at any time.
Marcus Yong, Vice President of Global Marketing at Klook, noted the changing dynamics of digital influence. According to Yong, follower counts and reach represent only one dimension of influence, with trust serving as the primary driver of consumer action.
The launch aligns with findings from Klook's Travel Pulse 2026 study, which indicated that four out of five travelers have booked an experience based on a creator's recommendation. Furthermore, the study showed that over a third of travelers rely on micro or niche creators rather than celebrities when making booking decisions.
Klook has invested in its creator ecosystem and social commerce tools since launching the Kreator Program in 2023. Company data indicates a growing trajectory for the segment, with creator-led travel bookings rising by 246% in 2025. Additionally, average bookings per active creator have increased by 36% following the introduction of Kreator Shops.
As part of its ongoing ecosystem expansion, Klook's Kreator's Picks program currently offers over 1,500 experiences across eight destinations, with Mainland China and Vietnam added as new markets in 2026. The company is also scaling its KREATORVERSE events from a single inaugural event in 2024 to five editions in 2026.
Founded as a pan-regional experiences platform in Asia Pacific, Klook operates a mobile-first platform that digitalizes travel activities, connecting merchants with travelers globally.
"The expansion of Klook's Kreator Shops highlights how platforms are moving beyond traditional affiliate links to build structured infrastructure for the creator economy. By consolidating disparate recommendations into a single, transactional storefront, Klook is effectively reducing friction between content discovery and final bookings. This approach demonstrates a clear shift toward enabling creators to function as micro-merchants, leveraging trust and community engagement to drive measurable business outcomes in the travel sector." — Dr. Shishir Gupta, Founder & CEO, StartupLanes
