Octave Intelligence Launches Technology and Innovation Centre in Hyderabad with 1,600 Engineers

Octave Intelligence plc has inaugurated its new Technology and Innovation Centre in Hyderabad's Hitec City. The two-lakh-square-foot facility currently houses 1,600 employees and plans to add 400 additional roles over the next three to four years.

HYDERABAD — Octave Intelligence plc, a provider of software for mission-critical industrial facilities and infrastructure, has officially opened its new Technology and Innovation Centre in Hyderabad.

The facility was inaugurated on Wednesday by Telangana IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu at Hitec City.

Spanning two lakh square feet, the newly established centre currently employs 1,600 personnel. According to the company, the facility will support its global technology and innovation operations, focusing on software engineering, artificial intelligence, data, cloud computing, and product development.

In addition to engineering and development workspaces, the facility includes an Experience Centre. This dedicated space is designed to showcase Octave's connected, contextual intelligence solutions and broader technology capabilities to clients and stakeholders.

The company also outlined plans to scale its local workforce further, aiming to add 400 more employees over the next three to four years.

Speaking at the inauguration event, Telangana IT Minister D Sridhar Babu highlighted the region's growing appeal as a hub for Global Capability Centres (GCCs). He noted that Hyderabad absorbed more than 46 percent of all new capability centres established across the country in the past year, welcoming companies such as Charles Schwab, The Hartford, Nationwide, L’Oréal, Vanguard, T-Mobile, and Southwest Airlines.

“We saw 75 new Global Capability Centres setting up their bases last year. We are now targeting 100 more by next year,” the Minister stated during the event.

The establishment of Octave's centre adds to the expanding ecosystem of multinational technology operations choosing Hyderabad as a strategic base for their global software engineering and product development initiatives.
