Radisson Breaks Ground on ₹100 Crore Five-Star Hotel Project in Ongole

ONGOLE — Andhra Pradesh Minister for IT, Nara Lokesh, on Friday laid the foundation stone for a new five-star hotel being established by Radisson in Chadalawada village, near Ongole. The project entails an investment of ₹100 crore and is expected to be the first five-star hotel in the Ongole region.

The property is being developed through a joint partnership between Ravishankar Group and Ravipriya Hospitality LLP, and it will be constructed to international standards. Upon completion, the hotel will feature 151 luxury rooms alongside a multi-cuisine restaurant, a premium bar, and a lounge.

Additional amenities at the facility will include an international-standard swimming pool, a luxury spa, and a modern fitness centre. Situated close to NH-16, the Chennai–Kolkata National Highway, the location is designed to provide convenient access for industrialists, business representatives, and tourists alike.

The project places a strong emphasis on business tourism and the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) sector. The property will dedicate more than 2,100 square metres of space to large banquet halls and conference rooms, catering specifically to corporate meetings, government programmes, conferences, weddings, and other large-scale events.

According to official releases, as Ongole experiences rapid regional development, this hospitality infrastructure project is expected to contribute significantly to the growth of the local economy by drawing business travelers and large gatherings to the area.
