Punjab-based multi-speciality healthcare provider ABH Healthcare is set to launch its initial public offering to raise ₹35 crore on the NSE Emerge platform. The issue opens for subscription on Monday, with a price band set between ₹96 and ₹102 per equity share.

Multi-speciality healthcare provider ABH Healthcare has announced plans to raise ₹35 crore through an initial public offering (IPO) on the NSE Emerge platform. The subscription window for the public issue opens on Monday.

The company has fixed the issue price band at ₹96 to ₹102 per equity share. The IPO consists of a fresh issue of 34,29,600 equity shares executed through the book-building process. Investors applying for the issue must bid for a minimum lot size of 1,200 equity shares.

The public offering includes a reservation of 1,72,800 equity shares for market makers, leaving the net public issue size at 32,56,800 equity shares. Fedex Securities is serving as the book-running lead manager for the public offer, while Bigshare Services has been appointed as the registrar to the issue.

According to the company's disclosures, the net proceeds from the IPO will be deployed toward multiple business objectives. ABH Healthcare proposes to allocate ₹17 crore of the capital toward the repayment of debt. An additional ₹5 crore will be utilized to fund ongoing working capital requirements. The remaining proceeds will be directed toward funding inorganic growth through unidentified acquisitions and general corporate purposes.

Dr. Saurabh Baghi, Managing Director of ABH Healthcare, noted that Anil Baghi Hospital has evolved into a 150-bed multi-speciality healthcare institution providing capabilities across 25 medical specialities. He stated that the institution's primary focus has centered on bringing experienced clinicians, modern medical infrastructure, and specialised care closer to patients in the region.

Commenting on the transition to a listed entity, Dr. Baghi added that the company will maintain its focus on strengthening clinical capabilities, enhancing patient care, and building upon the trust established by the hospital over the years. The company highlighted that India's healthcare sector continues to present growth opportunities driven by rising healthcare expenditure, growing awareness around specialised treatments, and increasing demand for organised healthcare services.

Incorporated in 2021 and based in Punjab, ABH Healthcare operates with a team consisting of 37 doctors and 101 nurses, as recorded at the end of June. The firm intends to leverage its established institutional network, participation in key government healthcare schemes, and diversified service offerings to expand its presence across the broader healthcare services market.

"The decision by ABH Healthcare to raise capital through an IPO on the NSE Emerge platform reflects the growing maturity of regional healthcare providers in India. Allocating a significant portion of the ₹35 crore proceeds toward debt reduction and working capital indicates a practical approach to strengthening the balance sheet before pursuing inorganic growth. As smaller and mid-sized enterprises turn to public markets to fund expansion, maintaining operational efficiency and clinical standards will be vital for long-term value creation." — Dr. Shishir Gupta, Founder & CEO, StartupLanes
