Integrated gold and silver platform Augmont Enterprises has announced its upcoming initial public offering to raise ₹825 crore. The public issue will open on August 21 with a price band set at ₹750 to ₹788 per equity share.

Integrated gold and silver platform Augmont Enterprises Ltd has announced the launch of its initial public offering (IPO) scheduled for August 21. The company is looking to raise ₹825 crore through this public issue, with the price band fixed at ₹750 to ₹788 per equity share.

According to the company's public announcement, the IPO comprises a fresh issue of shares valued at ₹620 crore, alongside an offer for sale (OFS) worth ₹205 crore by existing promoters. The promoters participating in the OFS include Namita Ketan Kothari, Vivek Prithviraj Kothari, and Dimple Mukesh Kothari.

Anchor investors will participate in bidding on August 20, ahead of the public issue opening. The subscription window for the public will close on August 25. Based on the upper end of the established price band, Augmont Enterprises is expected to achieve a post-issue market capitalisation of approximately ₹7,200 crore.

The proceeds generated from the fresh issue will primarily be allocated toward funding the company's working capital requirements. This includes the procurement and expansion of inventory, inventory maintenance, and advance margin requirements needed for purchasing inventory, as well as general corporate purposes.

Augmont Enterprises operates an integrated platform for gold and silver, catering to both business and consumer segments across 24 states. Its business operations cover the entire value chain for gold and silver, which encompasses procurement and refining, bullion trading, digital gold offerings, jewellery manufacturing, financial services, and associated technology platforms.

The firm's financial reports indicate significant growth driven by its online platforms, Augmont SPOT and Augmont Gold For All. Combined revenue from these platforms reached ₹84,762.62 crore in FY26, representing 90 percent of the total revenue from operations. This compares with ₹56,523.26 crore in FY25 and ₹32,477.87 crore in FY24.

Following the conclusion of the bidding process and allotment, the equity shares of Augmont Enterprises are scheduled to be listed on both the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on August 31.

"The upcoming public offering by Augmont Enterprises highlights the growing formalisation and scale of India's precious metals and digital gold sector. Raising ₹825 crore primarily to support working capital and inventory expansion reflects the high operational scale required in the bullion and digital platform space. With significant revenue growth reported across recent fiscal years, the public markets will closely evaluate how efficiently the company manages its capital deployment and inventory procurement post-listing on the BSE and NSE." — Dr. Shishir Gupta, Founder & CEO, StartupLanes
