Bihar Government Launches Monthly 'Vidyarthi Sahyog Shivir' to Address Student Grievances

PATNA: The Bihar government is launching a monthly initiative titled 'Vidyarthi Sahyog Shivir' (student support camps) to address and resolve the grievances of students. The announcement comes in the wake of ongoing protests by students and job aspirants in the Gardanibagh area of Patna.

According to the administration, these camps will be organized at educational institutions on the fourth Tuesday of every month. The initiative aims to provide students with a direct platform to raise their concerns and grievances before the concerned government officials.

Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary shared details of the initiative in a social media post, stating that the camps are being launched to ensure the prompt resolution of student issues. In addition to physical camps, the government has arranged digital channels for grievance redressal.

Students will now be able to register their complaints online and track the status of their grievances through a dedicated portal as well as Helpline 1100. This multi-channel approach is designed to streamline administrative responses to the student community in the state.
