CHENNAI — Aora India Private Limited has expanded its retail strategy with the launch of its direct-to-consumer (D2C) website, aoraspectrum.com. The move marks a transition beyond the online marketplaces where the wellness brand has distributed its products since its first commercial launch in January 2026.
Founded in 2023 and headquartered in Chennai, Aora operates in both India and the United States. Until now, the company's products have been primarily available through leading online marketplaces in India, alongside a select presence in the U.S. market.
The newly launched website consolidates Aora's supplement portfolio and its digital wellness platform into a single destination. According to the company, the platform is designed to provide consumers with detailed information regarding product formulations, ingredients, and the design process behind each item, offering more depth than standard marketplace listings typically allow.
Aora currently offers products across five core categories: gut health, daily nutrition, hair wellness, liver support, and bone and joint care. The company stated that these categories serve as the starting point for a wider portfolio, with additional formulations currently in development. New products are planned to debut on aoraspectrum.com prior to distribution elsewhere.
The digital platform is structured to connect products with related wellness topics and daily routine guides, allowing users to explore information relevant to their needs. Company leadership noted that the interface will continue to evolve alongside the product line.
Regarding manufacturing and regulatory standards, A. R. Santhanakrishnan, Chairman of Aora India Private Limited, stated that the brand's supplements are produced in GMP and SSCI-certified, U.S. FDA-registered facilities. The products undergo testing for quality and safety to align with the requirements of the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI).
"Over the last few decades in business, one thing has remained clear: people want to understand their choices and feel confident in them," said Santhanakrishnan. He added that the new D2C channel provides a direct method to engage with customers, gather feedback, and systematically expand the product and tool offerings over time.
"The launch of a direct-to-consumer platform by Aora highlights a necessary progression for emerging wellness brands moving beyond third-party marketplaces. By owning the digital storefront, companies can build direct relationships with consumers, gather actionable customer data, and communicate product formulations with greater transparency. For brands operating in regulated sectors like health and supplements, establishing a dedicated channel also provides better control over brand narrative and consumer education, which are critical for long-term customer retention and trust." — Dr. Shishir Gupta, Founder & CEO, StartupLanes
