MUMBAI — Endurance Technologies, a prominent player in the automotive components sector, continues to capture market confidence as financial brokerages reiterate a 'Buy' rating on the stock. This bullish outlook is underpinned by the company's aggressive, forward-looking capital expenditure strategy, targeted capacity additions, and a rapidly expanding footprint across both traditional internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicle (EV) value chains.
A critical pillar of Endurance Technologies' growth strategy lies in strengthening its manufacturing capabilities across core product lines, notably braking systems and suspension assemblies. In the braking segment, the company is substantially scaling up its Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) manufacturing infrastructure. Endurance is adding approximately 0.9 million units of ABS capacity to its existing base of 0.64 million units. The Start of Production (SOP) for this expanded capacity is slated for September and October 2026. Furthermore, high-value new dual-channel ABS programmes specifically tailored for Bajaj Auto are scheduled to kick off progressively between the first and third quarters of fiscal year 2027.
Complementing this is the greenfield Chennai disc brake facility. Equipped with a robust capacity of around 3 million assemblies, the plant is on track to commence commercial supplies to motorcycle giant Royal Enfield by September 2026. Deliveries to other major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) are scheduled to follow suit in the third quarter of FY27, ensuring a diversified and resilient revenue stream.
In the suspension category, the management has outlined ambitious operational targets, aiming for a monthly inverted front fork capacity of approximately one lakh units by the conclusion of FY27. This expansion is backed by strategic new programmes with market leaders such as Bajaj Auto, Hero MotoCorp, and Suzuki, which are anticipated to ramp up commercial operations starting in Q3FY27. Additionally, the company is aggressively scaling its four-wheeler aluminium casting business, anchored by cumulative bookings worth roughly ₹513 crore per annum at its Shendra facility.
Beyond legacy automotive segments, Endurance Technologies is carving out a formidable niche within the burgeoning EV ecosystem. The company is systematically deepening its presence across the EV value chain by developing essential components including battery packs, Battery Management Systems (BMS), motor controllers, DC-DC converters, and specialized aluminium castings. Highlighting this transition, the new battery pack facility located near Pune successfully commenced SOP for Hero MotoCorp in June. This plant is projected to achieve peak volume production by the third quarter of FY27. Doubling down on its electric mobility bets, Endurance is further investing ₹62 crore to venture into four-wheeler battery packs, with an anticipated SOP by Q4FY27.
Industry experts and equity analysts maintain an optimistic stance on Endurance Technologies, attributing their confidence to exceptional order visibility, accelerating EV adoption rates, and a well-timed pipeline of upcoming manufacturing capacities. As the Indian automotive landscape undergoes a structural transformation toward electrification and higher safety norms, Endurance is strategically positioned to capture significant market share, ensuring sustained medium-term growth momentum for its stakeholders.
"Endurance Technologies is showcasing a masterclass in strategic manufacturing expansion by simultaneously fortifying its core automotive competencies and aggressively capturing the future electric vehicle market. By securing long-term OEM partnerships with industry giants like Bajaj Auto, Royal Enfield, and Hero MotoCorp, the company has established an enviable order book and unmatched revenue visibility. Their proactive capital allocation into high-margin segments such as dual-channel ABS, inverted front forks, and advanced EV components like battery packs and BMS proves that traditional auto-ancillary players can successfully pivot toward next-generation mobility. At StartupLanes, we believe that companies bridging the gap between legacy engineering excellence and futuristic green technologies will dictate the trajectory of India's manufacturing prowess. Endurance is not merely participating in the EV transition; it is actively building the critical infrastructure required to power it." — Dr. Shishir Gupta, Founder & CEO, StartupLanes
