Hundia Infosolutions, the parent company of technology brand EVM, has invested over ₹2.5 crore into its newly launched gaming and performance peripherals brand, KARNAGE. The company targets the new brand to account for 20 percent of its overall revenue by FY29.

Hundia Infosolutions, the company behind homegrown technology brand EVM, has outlined a revenue target of 20 percent from its newly launched gaming and performance peripherals brand, KARNAGE, by the financial year 2029 (FY29). The company anticipates meaningful scaling for the brand starting from FY27 as its product portfolio expands into a broader performance ecosystem.

To support the launch, Hundia Infosolutions has invested upwards of ₹2.5 crore in KARNAGE to date. This initial capital allocation covers key operational areas including product development, brand identity, packaging, initial inventory, as well as retail and marketplace readiness.

According to Kunal Hundia, Managing Director of EVM India, this current financial outlay represents only an initial tranche. The company has lined up further investments directed toward product expansion, marketing, and community-led campaigns as the brand scales its operations in the market.

The initial phase of KARNAGE products features keyboards, mice, headsets, and mousepads. While primarily targeted at the gaming demographic, the product line is also being marketed to creators, developers, designers, and office users who require upgrades from basic computer accessories.

The introduction of KARNAGE coincides with broader expansion across Hundia Infosolutions' operations. Using FY24 as a baseline, the company projects its overall revenue to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of approximately 35 percent through FY28. Company leadership notes that this steady growth trajectory provides the necessary financial backing to invest in emerging categories like gaming and networking, complementing its core peripherals and storage business.

Hundia Infosolutions' flagship brand, EVM, has progressively broadened its market footprint. Moving beyond its original focus on storage and memory, EVM has expanded into IT peripherals, mobile accessories, motherboards, and networking products in recent years.

"Diversifying into specialized sub-brands is a calculated strategic move for hardware and technology companies looking to capture higher-margin consumer segments like gaming and performance peripherals. By committing an initial investment of ₹2.5 crore and scaling thoughtfully toward a FY29 horizon, Hundia Infosolutions is demonstrating a phased approach to brand building. Sustaining a projected 35 percent overall revenue growth rate through FY28 will be critical in providing the internal capital required to support new category expansions effectively." — Dr. Shishir Gupta, Founder & CEO, StartupLanes
