Chennai-based Sameera Group has announced an investment of ₹300 crore toward a statewide expansion initiative comprising ten residential projects across ten districts in Tamil Nadu.
The announcement was detailed during a press conference in Chennai by M. Sandeep Kumar, Managing Director of Sameera Lands and Construction, alongside D. Senthil Velan, CEO of Pan India Operations for the group. According to the leadership, the company will launch the ten residential projects consecutively between August 23 and September 1.
The developments are planned across ten districts, namely Trichy, Madurai, Tirunelveli, Vellore, Ranipet, Kanchipuram, Chennai, Krishnagiri, Tiruvannamalai, and Chengalpattu.
Outlining the project specifics, D. Senthil Velan stated that each of the ten developments spans approximately ten acres and will comprise roughly 200 units. Plot sizes for the residential offerings will start at 800 square feet. The communities are designed to include a combination of residential plots and villas, supported by infrastructure such as gated access, entrance arches, parks, and general community amenities.
Prior to this multi-district rollout, the Sameera Group has established a track record of developing townships across locations including Chennai, Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram, and Vellore. The company currently manages ten townships, each spanning over 100 acres.
"The expansion strategy adopted by Sameera Group demonstrates a focused approach to regional real estate development by decentralizing investments across multiple tier-2 and tier-3 districts in Tamil Nadu. Deploying ₹300 crore simultaneously across ten districts allows the company to tap into growing urbanization outside major metropolitan centers. For regional enterprises, scaling operations through structured, multi-location project rollouts is an effective way to address rising housing demand while diversifying geographic risk." — Dr. Shishir Gupta, Founder & CEO, StartupLanes
