Toy manufacturer Funskool India has updated its Handycrafts arts and crafts portfolio with a new line of creative activity kits. The revamped range features improved components and various themes aimed at enhancing skill-building for children.

Toy maker Funskool has refreshed its arts and crafts range, Handycrafts, introducing a new generation of creative activity kits designed to make art, exploration, and skill-building more accessible to children.

The revamped product line has been developed with improved components intended to be easier for children to handle and use. New additions to the portfolio include Sand Art and Mini Canvas Art. These products feature specific themes such as Food Treats, Animals, Princess & Unicorn, Space Adventure, and Aqua Animals.

According to the company, this refreshed range marks the beginning of a broader rollout for the Handycrafts portfolio, with additional skill-based, theme-led, and utility-focused creative experiences planned for the future.

Commenting on the launch, K.A. Shabir, CEO of Funskool India, said, "Every child is creative. Sometimes, all they need is the right starting point. With the renewed Handycrafts range, we have focused on making creative activities easier to engage with, while ensuring children can experiment, learn and enjoy the satisfaction of creating something on their own."

"Refreshing established product lines with improved usability and theme-based variations is a practical strategy for manufacturing and retail companies to sustain consumer interest. By focusing on enhanced components and skill-building, Funskool is aligning its offerings with evolving consumer preferences in the children's segment. For businesses operating in traditional sectors, continuous product evolution and portfolio expansion are key to maintaining market relevance and driving steady engagement." — Dr. Shishir Gupta, Founder & CEO, StartupLanes
