Wipro Expands Google Cloud Partnership to Scale Agentic AI and Gemini Enterprise

IT services major Wipro has announced an expansion of its partnership with Google Cloud, focusing on the enterprise-wide adoption of Gemini Enterprise and agentic artificial intelligence. Alongside this collaboration, Wipro is scaling its internal deployment of Gemini Enterprise and aims to empower over 10,000 AI-certified specialists, including 1,500 Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs), with advanced AI capabilities.

The initiative is designed to enhance productivity, streamline operations, and accelerate decision-making across internal and client-facing workflows. To support this, Wipro has launched the LIFT (Launch-Ignite-Flywheel-Transform) framework. Powered by Wipro Intelligence—a unified suite of AI platforms and solutions—the LIFT framework integrates Gemini Enterprise with Wipro’s proprietary delivery platforms, WINGS and WEGA. This integration is intended to help organizations move beyond basic task automation and embed secure, autonomous AI agents directly into multi-step business processes.

Kanwar Singh, Managing Partner and Global Head of Technology Services at Wipro, noted that AI forms a foundational element of the company's operational strategy. By strengthening Wipro Intelligence with Gemini Enterprise, the firm aims to embed intelligence into core operations to help clients scale outcomes and adapt to market environments.

To drive value creation, Wipro is building a dedicated team of more than 1,500 certified FDEs, combining Google Cloud’s technology with Wipro’s consulting and engineering expertise to support enterprise-wide AI deployment from pilot phases onward.

Kevin Ichhpurani, President of Global Partner Ecosystem at Google Cloud, highlighted the demand for Gemini Enterprise. According to Ichhpurani, Wipro's integration of the platform into its operations demonstrates how AI transformation drives tangible efficiency and helps joint customers bridge the gap between AI capabilities and business performance.

Drawing on its experience through its 'Operate Better with AI' strategy and 'Client Zero' approach, Wipro has deployed Gemini Enterprise as its central agentic orchestration platform. The platform's reasoning and long-context capabilities have enabled the creation of autonomous AI agents that streamline workflows in compliance, HR, and sales intelligence. Additionally, Wipro has integrated the Antigravity Command Line Interface into its software engineering ecosystem to assist developers with planning, coding, testing, and application modernization, resulting in improved productivity for custom application development and reductions in post-production defects.
