Zinnov Advises Akkodis on Acquiring 51% Stake in AXISCADES Aerospace Engineering Services Unit

Global management and strategy consulting firm Zinnov acted as the sole financial advisor to Akkodis for its acquisition of a 51% controlling stake in the aerospace engineering services business of AXISCADES Technologies Limited. The deal includes a structured joint venture transition to acquire the remaining 49% stake over a 24 to 30-month period.

BENGALURU — Global digital engineering consulting company Akkodis has acquired a 51% controlling stake in the aerospace engineering services business of AXISCADES Technologies Limited. Management and strategy consulting firm Zinnov served as the sole financial advisor for the transaction.

Under the terms of the agreement, the initial acquisition covers a 51% stake. The remaining 49% interest is scheduled to be acquired over a period of 24 to 30 months, operating as a joint venture during the transition phase.

The acquired aerospace division employs a workforce of over 1,000 engineers distributed across multiple geographies, including North America, Europe, and Asia. The business provides design, engineering analysis, certification support, and lifecycle engineering services to major aerospace Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).

According to the announced details, the transaction provides Akkodis with scaled delivery capacity in India, complementary engineering capabilities, and strengthened relationships with major industry customers.

Zinnov's mandate for the transaction covered several complex advisory areas. The firm managed capability evaluation, deal valuation and structuring, and transaction execution support across multiple regulatory environments. Additionally, Zinnov coordinated due diligence, navigated a multi-geography carve-out, and negotiated terms to achieve a successful outcome for the parties involved.
