IHCL Expands Uttarakhand Footprint with New SeleQtions Resort in Jim Corbett

Tata Group-owned Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), recognized as the country's largest hospitality player, announced on Monday the opening of a new resort in Uttarakhand. The 80-key property, named Corbett Hideaway, Jim Corbett - IHCL SeleQtions, is situated in the foothills of the Himalayas near Corbett National Park.

Gaurav Pokhariyal, Chief Operating Officer for Full-Service Business at IHCL, stated that Corbett remains a prominent wildlife destination in India, attracting travellers through its natural surroundings and ecosystem. He noted that the new property expands the company's presence in Uttarakhand and extends its collaboration with Leisure Hotels Group, marking the sixth resort added to the IHCL portfolio from this partnership.

Vibhas Prasad, Director at Leisure Hotels Group, commented that the organization is pleased to continue its association with IHCL through the launch of the new SeleQtions property.

Corbett National Park, where the resort is located, is among India's most established wildlife and nature tourism destinations. The addition of the 80-key resort contributes to the existing hospitality infrastructure serving visitors to the region.
