Ahmedabad-based wealth management firm Prudent Corporate Advisory Services reported a 42.4 per cent year-on-year increase in operating profit to ₹102.8 crore for the quarter ended September 2026. The growth was supported by record quarterly equity net sales of ₹4,138 crore and expansion in both mutual fund and insurance segments.

Ahmedabad: Prudent Corporate Advisory Services Limited has announced its financial results for the July-September 2026 quarter (Q2 FY27), reporting a 42.4 per cent year-on-year rise in operating profit to ₹102.8 crore. During the quarter, the Ahmedabad-based wealth management firm recorded its highest-ever quarterly equity net sales of ₹4,138 crore.

Revenue from operations grew 21.6 per cent year-on-year to ₹388.7 crore. This top-line growth was driven by a 20.7 per cent increase in quarterly average assets under management (AUM) within the mutual fund business, alongside a 46 per cent growth in the insurance segment.

The company's operating profit margin expanded by 390 basis points to reach 26.4 per cent, compared to 22.6 per cent in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. Profit after tax (PAT) rose 33.9 per cent year-on-year to ₹71.7 crore. The firm noted that PAT growth lagged operating profit growth due to mark-to-market reversals in other income during the quarter.

Prudent's monthly systematic investment plan (SIP) book reached ₹1,272 crore in September 2026, marking a 17 per cent year-on-year increase. This growth pushed the company's market share in SIP flows to 3.7 per cent, up from 3.5 per cent a year earlier. Additionally, its market share in equity mutual funds improved to 2.70 per cent from 2.59 per cent.

The firm's Specialized Investment Fund (SIF) business also demonstrated traction. SIF partners increased to 1,792 from 1,323 in the preceding quarter, with SIF AUM reaching ₹900 crore. Prudent added 3,541 channel partners in the first half of FY27, representing a 30 per cent increase compared to the same period in the previous year. The company currently operates across 165 locations in over 21 states, supported by 1,712 employees and 39,691 channel partners.

On the stock exchange, shares of Prudent closed at ₹2,964.80 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Wednesday, registering a 2.89 per cent gain for the day. This gave the company a market capitalization of approximately ₹12,276 crore. The stock trades at a trailing price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 48.69 and is up about 15.5 per cent year-to-date, remaining below its 52-week high of ₹4,105.50 recorded in August 2026.

"Prudent's performance this quarter highlights the strong underlying demand in India's wealth management and mutual fund sectors. Achieving record equity net sales alongside margin expansion demonstrates effective operational scaling and growing retail participation through SIPs. For financial distribution businesses, expanding the partner network while driving higher ticket sizes in specialized segments remains a reliable path to sustained profitability." — Dr. Shishir Gupta, Founder & CEO, StartupLanes
