TestMu AI, operating as an agentic AI-powered quality engineering platform, hosted the fifth edition of its virtual TestMu Conference 2026. The three-day event centered on discussions surrounding agentic engineering and quality, outlining the industry's transition toward autonomous software development.
According to the company, the summit recorded over 75,000 registrations from software testers, developers, engineering leaders, and AI/ML engineers spanning more than 120 countries. The event recorded active participation with over 10,000 attendees across its schedule.
The conference agenda featured speakers and representatives from enterprises including Microsoft, Meta, Replit, Databricks, Glean, Hinge Health, Salesforce, and Piramal Finance. Notable speakers included Luis Héctor Chávez, Chief Technology Officer at Replit; Francesca Lazzeri, Principal Group Director at Microsoft; Thomas Dohmke, Co-Founder and CEO of Entire; and Dona Sarkar, Chief Troublemaker for Microsoft Enterprise AI Advocacy at Microsoft, alongside engineering leads from Meta, Glean, Hinge Health, and Databricks.
Across 96 sessions, panels, and workshops, participants discussed three primary industry takeaways. First, the event emphasized that trust in AI-driven engineering must be systematically verified through rigorous evaluations, verification layers, and continuous validation. Second, discussions highlighted the necessity of moving agentic workflows from initial pilots to production by implementing robust quality gates, observability, and governance. Finally, speakers noted that human oversight and operational culture remain critical for supervising and managing AI agents effectively.
Asad Khan, CEO and Co-Founder of TestMu AI, stated that the conference demonstrated the industry's shift toward responsible agentic AI engineering. He noted that autonomous systems require autonomous quality standards, which will guide software development and testing practices over the coming decade.
The event received support from a partner ecosystem that included Accenture, Capgemini, LTIMindtree, Microsoft, Persistent, and Wipro.
Following the conclusion of this year's summit, TestMu AI announced plans to host the sixth annual TestMu Conference from August 24 to August 26, 2027.
