Chandigarh University Computer Science Engineering alumnus Sabhay Khera has founded Habonix Media Pvt Ltd, a tech-driven startup designed to provide IT services and consulting to MSMEs and growing businesses. The venture recently received a Rs. 3 lakh startup seed grant from the Punjab government.

Under the Habonix Media umbrella, Khera has co-founded two specialized ventures: No Cap Creative and CollabRats. No Cap Creative, co-founded in January 2026 with Avleen Kaur, offers end-to-end digital marketing and content solutions including social media marketing, performance marketing, content creation, video production, graphic design, web development, and digital branding. Starting with three clients in January 2026, No Cap Creative currently serves over 20 clients across sectors such as hospitality, real estate, healthcare, fitness, fashion, e-commerce, and professional services, counting brands like Basant, Ombre, and Amoldo among its clientele.

The agency operates with a team of over 12 members and reports monthly revenue exceeding Rs. 3 lakh, having generated more than 10 million cumulative views for its clients. Moving forward, No Cap Creative plans to expand its presence across North India, build a larger team, deepen its capabilities in content production and performance marketing, and eventually explore technology products and platforms.

The second venture, CollabRats, was co-founded in May 2025 with Ramandeep Singh as a mobile networking and opportunity discovery platform. Aimed at addressing fragmented networking, the app utilizes hyperlocal discovery and smart matchmaking to help users connect with relevant people, jobs, gigs, events, communities, and services nearby.

CollabRats is currently pre-revenue and focused on product validation and user growth with a team of four members. The platform has launched its beta version, onboarded over 250 users, conducted more than 200 user surveys, established CollabNation with over 300 members, and achieved over 1 million social media views. The team plans to scale user communities city by city, beginning with Punjab before expanding to Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities.

Deepinder Singh Sandhu, Senior Managing Director at Chandigarh University, noted that the institution fosters an entrepreneurial ecosystem and houses a Technology Business Incubator that is mobilizing Rs. 5 crore to support student startups.

"Securing early-stage government grants provides vital validation for student-led startups, allowing founders to focus on product-market fit and initial execution without immediate financial pressure. Diversifying into specialized verticals like digital marketing agencies and niche networking platforms helps young entrepreneurs understand diverse business models, client management, and scaling challenges early in their careers. Building a sustainable revenue base before expanding geographically is a prudent strategy for early-stage ventures." — Dr. Shishir Gupta, Founder & CEO, StartupLanes
